To comply with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR \u00a7 730 et seq.) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR \u00a7 120\u2013130), Fictiv maintains strict limitations on what may be uploaded or manufactured through our platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u2705 Classifications Supported on the Fictiv Platform (Self-Serve)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fictiv supports the following Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) on the platform:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>EAR99<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EAR 9E991<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your project is classified as EAR99 or EAR 9E991, you may submit your RFQ directly through the Fictiv platform. During upload, you may be asked to confirm the export classification of your parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udeab ITAR-Controlled Projects<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1561\" height=\"1017\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.fictiv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/unnamed.png\" alt=\"Export Control Terms of Service consent window in the Fictiv platform\" class=\"wp-image-23468 lazyload\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fictiv <strong>does not support ITAR-controlled parts, technical data, or services.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ITAR-controlled files may not be uploaded to the Fictiv platform.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If ITAR language is detected in a drawing, the quote and associated files will be automatically deleted.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If ITAR is selected during classification, the quote will be deleted and the data removed from Fictiv systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u26a0\ufe0f All Other EAR\/ECCN-Controlled Projects<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your project is governed by the EAR and falls under an ECCN <strong>other than EAR99 or 9E991<\/strong>, Fictiv can likely support these projects, but they cannot be initiated through Fictiv\u2019s self-service platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These projects must be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Initiated off-platform<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submitted through the Export-Controlled Project Request Form on or off platform<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviewed by Fictiv Sales and Compliance before any files are uploaded to Fictiv\u2019s FedRAMP-compliant file storage system<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1567\" height=\"1017\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.fictiv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/unnamed-1.png\" to):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aerospace and propulsion components<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commercial spacecraft-related hardware (e.g., 9A515)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avionics, navigation, or sensor systems<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certain electronics, materials, or manufacturing technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When to Use the Request<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When completing the Export-Controlled Project Request Form, be prepared to provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Company and contact information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Export classification (ECCN, if known)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-level part or program details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current development stage of your project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Providing complete and accurate information allows our Sales and Compliance teams to evaluate whether the project can be supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What Happens After You Submit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After submission:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your request is routed to the appropriate Fictiv Sales and Compliance teams.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We review the information to determine whether the project can be supported within regulatory requirements.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Fictiv representative will follow up with next steps or additional questions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submitting this form does not guarantee project acceptance, but it ensures your request is evaluated in a compliant, secure, and timely manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Platform Safeguards &amp; Automatic Detection<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
